The saw has a brass backed 18" blade filed at 9 ppi. The beech handle is fastened to the blade with two STEEL split nuts

I suddenly seem to have a soft spot for these London pattern handles...all but two or three were found this summer at yard sales or flea markets. The most expensive one was 5 bucks CDN.
